When your facilitator returns a task that has been assessed based on the Communication and Critical Thinking Rubric, do you wonder what you are supposed to do with the feedback?
The feedback will be divided into the same sections as the CASB Communication and Critical Thinking Guide:
A-Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation, and Word Use
B-Sentences, Paragraphs, Organization
C-Formatting
D-Tone
E-Audience
F-Critical Thinking
You will receive a score and feedback on each section. In most cases, you should also receive information on how to improve your score in that section.
If the feedback feels overwhelming, remember to focus on making improvements in stages. Refer to the CASB Communication and Critical Thinking Guide for what is required to achieve a score in the next level (for example, if you received a “2”, look at what is required to achieve a “3”) and try to incorporate that information into the next tasks you submit.
Consider reviewing all of the rubric-assessed tasks from the modules you’ve already completed to see if there are any areas that require special attention. This is a great activity to do with your mentor.
