Evaluation tips

Session 1 evaluation day is next week. After you check out these tips about what you need and don’t need at the evaluation centre, here are a few tips on writing the evaluation:

Manage your time. You’ve heard this before, but try to stick to the suggested time. There is no formal break during the evaluation so you’ll be responsible for moving from one question to the next. Help yourself by developing a plan.
Spend some time planning. Before you jump into a question, take a few minutes to plan your response. This will help you prioritize and stay on track.
Stay on track. Once you have a plan, try to stick to it. Don’t let yourself borrow time from another question; you likely won’t be able to make it up.
Prioritize. You may be presented with several parts to a question. Prepare to address all of them, but decide which are the most important ones for you to focus on, and what order you’ll tackle them in.
